  We took the American Airlines flight from Fort Lauderdale , FL to Dallas , TX - It was a pleasant trip that we enjoyed with a few Bloody Marys . The Bloody Mary is one of the most iconic and enduring cocktails in the world—equal parts brunch staple, hangover remedy, and culinary experiment in a glass.  The origin story is a bit muddled, but here are the main contenders: Fernand Petiot , a bartender at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, claimed to invent it in the 1920s, originally calling it a “Bucket of Blood” . Robert Alonso is a Cuban-Venezuelan-American political activist, writer, and journalist born on August 23, 1950, in Cienfuegos, Cuba. At the age of 11, in 1961, he emigrated with his family to Venezuela to escape Fidel Castro's regime. In Venezuela, he acquired citizenship and built much of his personal and professional life, where he married and had four children. He is known for his strong opposition to Castroism and Chavismo, as well as for creating the civic resistance strategy known as "La Guarimba."   En torno a " La Operación Peñerito ", donde la fuerza militar más poderosa del Planeta Tierra logró pulverizar un peñerito (nombre que se les da en Venezuela a los pequeños botes de pescadores artesanales) de unos 30' de eslora, se ha dicho mucho y se ha dejado de decir muchísimo.  LEGALIDAD DEL ATAQUE Es increíble que los grandes medios de comunicación, como el New York Times , ya hayan olvidado la Ley S1867, promulgada por el senado dentro de lo que se conoce como  National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (NDAA 2012) y aprobada por el entonces presidente de Estados Unidos, Barack Hussein Obama II el 31 de diciembre de 2011.
